Care & Maintenance

Storage:
GB BOND/Queen LITE PC Sheets should be stored in warehouse areas that free from atmospheric influences and keep in places with good ventilation. Care should be exercised when handling and transporting the PC sheet in order to prevent scratches and damages.

Sawing / Cutting:
GB BOND/ QUEEN LITE PC Sheets can be cut with a fine-toothed circular saw or handsaw held at a shallow angle or using an offset snip to do so. Use clean compressed air to blow out the saw dust. When hand or power hacksaws are used, the sheet should be clamped to avoid undesirable vibration.

Drilling:
GB BOND/QUEEN LITE PC Sheets can be drilled using standard twist drills and carbide tipped drills. The sheet must be supported firmly underneath when drilling. The holes should be drilled a minimum of 6mm in diameter for sheet length up to 2000mm and a further 2.5mm greater in diameter per 1000mm additional length of sheet for thermal expansion used. The holes for cladding buttons should be a minimum of 18mm in diameter and it must drilled at least 40 mm from the edges.

Cleaning:
The small surfaces of the PC sheet can be cleaned with warm water by using a soft sponge and a solution of mild ALKALINE DETERGENT.
Do not use any corrosive materials or chemicals to clean the PC sheets.

Chemicals:
Always ensure that sealants, gaskets and other materials used by GB BOND/QUEEN LITE PC Sheets do not have a detrimental effect on the material. A low-medullas neutral silicone MUST be used, as all purpose silicone will cause GB BOND/QUEEN LITE PC Sheets crack and disintegrate.

Standing:
Whenever people need to embark the PC Sheet, the wooden sheet/board must put on the top of PC Sheet.
This board is used to protect the PC Sheet from the people who direct embark the PC Sheet that will cause the PC Sheet broken.
